Hotel Description

Located on a hillside of the picturesque village of Agia Marina. Galini Sea View is an elegant 5-star hotel with an amazing sea view and offers 318 room types in total.

The resort owns 3 buildings. The first building is the “main/central” building which is located up to the hill, almost 150 meters away from the sea and consists of 189 standard rooms with a capacity 2-3 persons in each room, 14 maisonettes with a capacity 4-5 persons in each one, 8 private pool rooms with capacity 2-3 persons in each room, 7 sharing pool rooms with capacity 2-3 persons in each room. All check-ins and check-outs are conducted in the main building. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel that helps guests move around by transferring them from the main bus arrival point to the main building’s entrance, smoothly. Also, the bellboy is there to help guests out with their luggage.

The 2^nd building is the “Eden” building, which is located no more than 50 meters away from the sea and consists of 30 Mountain View rooms with a capacity of 2-4 persons in each room.

The 3^rd building is the “Beach” building, which consists of 67 standard rooms with a capacity of 2 persons in each room, and is located at the beach area, approximately 150 meters from the main building.

There are 6 swimming pools in total in the hotel, 5 outdoor pools and an indoor pool. Please note that none of the pools is heated. Each building has its own pool, so there is no need for guests to concentrate in one pool.

Additionally, there is a mini water park with slides and aqua games for our little friends, and also a kids’ club to spend their time and enjoy themselves. Kids’ play facilities are strictly inspected and supervised by their parents.

In the hotel, there are two restaurants, the main buffet-style restaurant “Grand Blue”, which is located next to the reception in the main building, and also the “Laguna” Italian restaurant, which is located up to the main pool bar in the main building.  In the hotel, there are also 3 bars. The main bar is located in the main building at the lobby area, the main pool bar is located at the main pool area in the main building, and the beach bar is located at the beach building. All bars serve all-inclusive drinks from their opening time until 23.00p.m every day. After 23.00 p.m.,  there is also a wide range of drink varieties that guests may order from the pay-as-you-go menu. Furthermore, there are 2 snack points, free of charge for the all-inclusive guests, one is located outside the indoor pool in the main building, and the second one is located at the beach area, next to the beach bar. All the above-specified facilities offered by the ownership and our service-minded staff promise to make your holidays unforgettable.

The beautiful city of Chania and the Venetian Harbor, P/Old town of the city, which transcends a magical atmosphere for the majority of travelers, is only 8 kilometers away from the hotel. Also, the city’s airport is a half-hour drive from the hotel.

Walking distances within the hotel

Guests staying at the “Eden” building will have to walk almost 100 meters to reach the main restaurant in the main building, next to the reception desk.

Furthermore, guests who stay in the “Beach” building will have to walk almost 150 meters in order to reach the main restaurant in the main building.

There is also the option for those guests who face walking difficulties to reserve the hotel’s club car in order to reach the main building and the main restaurant, or the à la carte restaurant, or the main bar, or even the reception. There is a “waiting point” that the golf car reaches every 5 minutes to help guests and drive them up to the main building.

General Hotel Policies

• Check-In: After 14.00p.m and Check-Out: Strictly at 11:00 a.m. during the season.
• Late check-out is subject to availability and chargeable (Please ask the guest relation desk one day before your departure).
• All indoor areas, as well as in all our restaurants and bars, are non-smoking areas. However, outdoor areas that remain open and are not covered or enclosed by any construction can be used as smoking areas under the Greek Law.
• Alcohol is not allowed for guests whose age is less than 18. Barmen have the right to figure this out by asking guests for their ID Cards or their passports.
• Is not permitted to reserve sun beds in the pool area from the previous day or before you officially use them. Towels or sun beds left unattended will be removed by the pool boys.
